Even though many people say that she is a second-rate copy of Suzi Quatro, Joan Jett is a one of a kind.!

Joan Jett grew up in Long Beach, California and got started in the music business at the tender age of 14 when she joined The Runaways. However, when the band broke up, Joan was determined to succeed, and did! Unlike many women in rock, Joan Jett has always been willing to take chances. Her many albums and her veried appearance ad made her a fascinating person to watch over the years. I wish I could provide a better bio, but I have been unable to contact her management.
